What is QuadraFade Rx Advanced?

QuadraFade Rx Advanced is a prescription compounded topical cream formulated for stubborn hyperpigmentation. It is designed to address excess pigment from several angles at once: reducing new pigment production, interrupting pigment signaling, increasing cell turnover and controlling irritation.

What is it commonly used for?

Your provider may prescribe it for melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, dark acne marks, sun-related discoloration, age spots, uneven skin tone and dark discoloration left behind after a healed injury or scar. It is intended to fade discoloration; it does not remove raised scar tissue or fill depressed scars.

What makes the upgraded formula different?

The upgraded formula adds tranexamic acid 4%. While hydroquinone and kojic acid focus primarily on melanin production and tretinoin accelerates turnover, tranexamic acid targets additional signaling involved in stubborn pigmentation and melasma, including inflammatory and vascular

contributors.
